MISSION DESCRIPTION

Mission Site: Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic

Mission Dates: 2/20/10 - 3/27/10

Deadline for Receipt of Volunteer Applications: 12/15/09

Mission Objective:Provide primary medical and dental healthcare services to Dominican banana and rice farm workers and their families. Volunteers are needed for each of the five weeks listed, minimum one week service (Saturday to Saturday)

Trip is coordinated in conjunction with Orphanage Outreach Health Corps, which has been working in the DR since 1994. Full-time in-country staff will manage clinic logistics. www.orphanage-outreach.org
