DOCARE Honored by First Lady of Guatemala

During the January mission to Lake Atitlan, led by past DOCARE President Camille Bentley, DO, the volunteers were honored with a visit from Guatemala's First Lady, Sandra Torres De Colom. She spoke before a crowd of over 200 villagers extolling the virtues of the work DOCARE volunteers have done and pledged the government's support for working together on future medical missions. She concluded her remarks by presenting each DOCARE volunteer with a special certificate of appreciation.
